Tax Day blues ? Play tax evaders !

Today is Tax Day, the day you have to settle up with uncle sam - at least on paper.

On this Tax Day, you can take out your frustrations of the Tax Code through a new browser game."Tax Evaders" is basically like "Space Invaders" with all the alien spaceships donning corporate logos. And the big corporations are those accused of evading taxes, diminishing revenues and wreaking havoc on middle America.

So, if you`re frustrated at having to pay taxes - take it out on the big corporations and blow them away-on your browser.  Play the game of Tax Evaders by clicking here.

EDD is excited to announce its 2013 Earth Day will take place at Fair Park, in the heart of Dallas, Texas. The event will utilize approximately 500,000 square feet of both indoor and outdoor event space. EDD's footprint will easily accommodate the 600 exhibitors and 65,000 guests anticipated to attend this year's event.

Bitcoin's wild ride may not have been the biggest business story of the past few weeks, but it was surely the most entertaining. Over the course of less than two weeks the price of the "digital currency" more than tripled. Then it fell more than 50 percent in a few hours. Suddenly, it felt as if we were back in the dot-com era.

Bill passed to drug test Texas welfare applicants

The Texas Senate has passed a bill to drug test some welfare applicants and cut off drug users from receiving money.

The bill by Sen. Jane Nelson, a Flower Mound Republican, covers adults applying to the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program, which provides poor people with money for food, clothing, housing and other basic needs.

The bill passed Wednesday temporarily cuts off benefits to drug users, with a permanent ban after three failed drug tests. Money would still go to an applicant's minor children through a third party.

The program spends about $90 million on 100,000 Texans every year. Nelson says taxpayer money should not be used to support a drug habit.

The bill now goes to the House for consideration.
